Clara's 2nd Birthday

October 30th we celebrated Clara's birthday! It was so much fun. We started her birthday with her favorite taco from La Paloma, which happens to be my favorite too. Then we sang "Happy Birthday", we opened presents and had cake. It was fun watching her open her presents. She unwrapped all her presents, it took a long time but she did it. We can't believe had fast she is growing. She is changing everyday. We love her so much and can't wait for many birthday's to come.

My little Clara is turning 2 in 14 days. Time flies fast. yesterday we went to the park and took pictures of Clara.

All about Clara

I haven't done a post 0n Clara in a really long time so I figured i might as well do one. Clara loves baby dolls. From when she wakes up to the time she goes to bed she is caring around a baby. She feeds her babies, she pretends to give her babies medicine, She wraps them up in blankets, and rock them to sleep. Yesterday i found her with her wet wipes and whipping her babies bottom. I thought it was so cute so I let her play a little longer, but dad found her a minute later and he didn't think playing with expensive wet wipes way cute. A week ago I went to go check on Clara because it was way to quiet in her room. As I look in her room she was rocking her baby. I asked her what she was doing and she said, "Shhhhhhh, baby sleeping". And I, very quietly said sorry and let her be. I love the fact that she loves her babies. It makes me feel like the transition to having a baby in the home wont be a big dill. I know there will be a little of jealousy problem but I know no matter what she will love her baby brother.

baby boy's first gift

We got a package in the mail a couple of weeks ago from great grandma Clara and to our surprise it was cute boy clothes and a blanket inside. Clara was so excited! she new exactly who they were for. She kept on saying " baby, baby". I really didn't think about how Clara would act when tons of boy stuff would be entering the house, but she did really well.

Thank you so much grandma clara! I love the outfits and the blanket. Getting the package in the mail made everything so real to me. Your are so awesome! We love you and miss you tons. Give everyone our love in Redding and hopefully we will see you soon.

Boy!

We are so excited! Now we are able to say "he" instead of "it". And my favorite part is I get to start decorating there room and getting ready for baby covered in blue! I feel so blessed that I get to experience a girl and a boy. Well i love raising a girl, so lets see if I will be able to handle a boy. All I know is I have a wiggle worm on my hands. The whole time during the ultra sound the nurse was tell him to calm down and stay still. He was all over the place. Such a busy body already. I am afraid he wont change when he is born. Well, I love him anyways! I am so excited to share our exciting news with all of you!

Am I having a Girl Or a Boy?

On Monday July 20th I have a doctor's appointment to find out the sex of the baby! We are super excited to find out what we are having. If you would like you can guess what we are having take the poll. I would love to know what you guy's think. Let me give you some clues. Clara tells us that we are having a girl and my pregnancy has been way different with this one then Clara's and I have a feeling like I'm having a boy. But somedays I think I could be having a girl. Well its confusing but we will figure it out soon. Hooray!

Father's Day

Clara knew it was a special day for dad. She was so cuddly with him all day. I made dad egg benedict for breakfast and after church he had roast beef dips and his favorite cookies. Later on in the day we were invited to my aunts in-laws house for dinner. It was really fun! The day ended up really good. Dad was spoiled all day and he loved it.
